RRB Station Master Recruitment 2026-27: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways have invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for the posts of Station Master in various Zonal Railways of Indian Railways under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 08/2026. A total of 1265 vacancies are available across all RRBs.
Eligible candidates can submit their online applications through the unified official RRB website. The online application process starts on 27 October 2026 and closes on 25 November 2026 at 23:59 hrs. Candidates can apply to only one RRB. Age Limit for RRB Station Master Recruitment 2026
Age is calculated as on 01 January 2027.
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age (Normal): 33 Years

RRB Station Master Selection Process 2026
The recruitment process for Station Master will consist of the following stages:
- Single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination
Medium of Examination: Questions for CBT will be available in English, Hindi and 13 regional Indian languages (Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu). Candidates must choose their medium at the time of application. No change will be allowed later.
Final selection will be based on performance in the above stages, subject to medical fitness in A-2 standard and verification of documents.

How to Apply for RRB Station Master Recruitment 2026
- Visit the unified official RRB website: https://www.rrbapply.gov.in.
- Create an account for CEN 08/2026 (or use existing RRB account credentials if already registered for previous CENs).
- A valid mobile number and active email ID are mandatory for OTP verification.
- Candidates are strongly advised to authenticate identity using DigiLocker or Aadhaar during account creation.
- Fill the online application form carefully with correct details. Choose only one RRB.
- Provide order of Zone preferences under the chosen RRB.
- Select the medium of examination.
- Capture a live photograph as per the instructions (plain white background, proper dress, no cap/mask/glasses, eyes open, etc.). Pre-existing photographs are not allowed.
- Upload the scanned signature in the prescribed format (JPG/JPEG, 30-49 KB, running handwriting in black ink).
- Pay the application fee online.
- Submit the application and download the confirmation.
- Modification of certain details (except account details and chosen RRB) is possible from 28.11.2026 to 07.12.2026 by paying ₹250 per modification.
