Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals for the recruitment of Civil Engineer and Electrical Engineer posts on a contract basis. The closing date for submission of online applications is 2nd May 2025.

✅ Age Limit (as on 02.05.2025):
- Maximum 50 years for all candidates.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwBD (UR), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), and as per GoI rules for Ex-Servicemen.
✅ Educational Qualifications:
✔️ 3 Year Diploma in relevant field of Engineering with at least 50 % of marks or its equivalent grade + 06 years experience (OR) B. Tech/B.E. or equivalent degree in relevant field with at least 50% of marks or its equivalent grade + 03 years experience.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Written Test and/or Skill Test and/or Presentation and/or Personal Interview, as decided by IIT Dharwad.
✔️ Shortlisting based on academic performance, qualifications, and experience, if applications are numerous.
✔️ Selection process conducted at IIT Dharwad; no TA/DA provided for attending.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 500/- (including GST) for General/OBC/EWS candidates.
✔️ Exempted for SC/ST/Women/PwBD (minimum 40% disability)/Ex-Servicemen.
✔️ Fee payable online via State Bank e-collect facility; reference number to be provided in the application. Non-refundable.
✅ How to Apply:
➢ Eligible candidates must apply online through the IIT Dharwad website latest by 02.05.2025.
➢ Register with a valid email ID and complete the application form.
➢ Upload copies of: passport-size photograph, Date of Birth certificate, B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech mark sheets (all semesters/years), experience certificates (on organization letterhead with issue date, work period, duties, designation, pay), caste/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen certificates (GoI format), and fee payment reference.
➢ Pay the application fee via State Bank e-collect and enter transaction details.
➢ Verify all details before submission; no modifications allowed post-submission.
➢ Retain a copy of the confirmation email and application for reference. Hard copy submission not required.
➢ Original certificates and self-attested copies must be produced during the selection process and joining.
