✅ Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years.
Age relaxation - 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC and Maximum 03 years for Ex-Servicemen.
✅ Monthly Salary (Pay Scale):
₹ 19,900/- per month (Level 2 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC).
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
(1) Minimum 10th Class (Matriculation) Pass from a recognized board or institute.
(2) Possession of a valid driving for light and heavy motor vehicles.
(3) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism.
(4) Experience of driving light and heavy motor vehicle for at least 03 years.
✅ Selection Process:
The Post Officer Driver recruitment selection on the basis of following selection methods:
✔️ Trade Test
✔️ Driving Test
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ An Indian Postal Order of ₹ 100/- for General category candidates.
✔️ Additionally, shortlisted candidates need to pay an examination fee of ₹ 400 for the driving test, which is exempted for SC/ST/Female candidates.

Eligible candidates apply in prescribed application format. The duly filled application attached with required photo-copies of documents:-
(a) Age Proof: Any valid document proving the age of the applicant.
(b) Educational Qualification - 10th Marks Certificates.
(c) Driving License.
(d) Driving Experience Certificates.
(e) Caste Certificate.
(f) Proof of Ex-servicemen (if required).
(g) Two recent passport-size photographs, self-attested by the candidate.
The Completed Applications addressed to the "Assistant Director (Recruitment), Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Bihar Circle, Patna-800001" by speed post or registered post only. The envelope should be inscribed with "Application for the post of Driver (Direct Recruitment)".
