Chennai City Courts has published vacancy notification for the Voluntary legal service providers in District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Chennai. The Chennai District Legal Services Authority and the District Legal Services Committees operating in Ezhumbur, George Town, and Saidapet welcome applications from the following individuals to serve as voluntary legal service providers:
- Teachers (including retired teachers)
- Retired government employees and senior citizens
- Students and teachers pursuing postgraduate studies in social work
- Anganwadi workers
- Doctors/Health professionals
- Students and law college students (until they are registered as lawyers)
- Representatives of non-political, non-governmental social service organizations and associations
- Members of women's groups, friendship groups, and self-help groups including the poor
- Individuals considered suitable for the post of District/Circle Legal Services Voluntary Legal Service Providers.
