TN PWD Recruitment Notification November 2024 for Diploma, Engineering and Non Engineering Graduates: The Public Works Department (PWD), Tamil Nadu invites online applications from eligible candidates who are Graduate/ Diploma holders in Engineering and Non-Engineering disciplines (graduated in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024) and are residents of Tamil Nadu. The online applications are for undergoing a one-year Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act, 1973.. The last date for submitting online applications is 31st December 2024.

✅ TN PWD Vacancy 2024 Disciplines:
✔️ Graduate Apprentices(Engineering / Technology): Civil Engineering - 460, Electrical and Electronics Engineering - 28, Architecture - 12.
✔️ Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (Engineering / Technology): Civil Engineering - 150, Electrical and Electronics Engineering - 05, Architecture - 05.
✔️ Non Engineering Graduate Apprentices: B.A. / B.Sc., / B.Com., / BBA / BCA / BBM etc. - 100.
✅ Age Limit:
As per Apprenticeship Rules.
✅ Monthly Stipend:
✔️ Graduate Apprentices: ₹ 9000/- per month
✔️ Technician Apprentice: ₹ 8000/- per month
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Category I – Graduate Apprentices: A full-time degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or institution.
✔️ Category II – Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: A full-time diploma in Engineering/Technology from a State Council or Board of Technical Education.
✔️ Category III – Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices: A full-time degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Humanities (e.g., BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA) from a recognized University, approved by UGC.
✅ Selection Process:
The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is responsible for preparing the shortlist from the online application data. The Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their prescribed qualifications, relevant to each discipline. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via their registered email and must attend certificate verification at PWD, Chennai.

✅ How to Apply TN PWD Apprentice Recruitment 2024:
Interested candidates who possess the required criteria/educational qualification MUST register themselves on the website of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) i.e www.nats.education.gov.in from 25th November 2024.
After Registration, Login with email ID and password, Under “Apply against advertised vacancies” –> Search “PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TAMILNADU” –> Click apply (You can see the status as “applied”).
The last date for submitting online applications is 31/12/2024 up to 23:59 Hours.
