TNMVMD Notification for the selection of Diploma (Technician) Apprentices for the year 2024-25. The Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicle Maintenance Department (TNMVMD), Chennai (Government of Tamil Nadu), invites online applications from fresh graduates and diploma holders in Mechanical or Automobile engineering disciplines, who are residents of Tamil Nadu, for a one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.

TNMVMD Apprentice Age Limit:
Age limit as per Apprenticeship Rules.
TNMVMD Apprentice Salary:
✔️ For Diploma Apprentice monthly stipend is ₹ 8000/- per month.
✔️ For Graduate Apprentice monthly stipend is ₹ 9000/- per month.
TNMVMD Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Category-II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices: Full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a State Council or Board of Technical Education, University, or institution recognized by the State or Central Government in the relevant discipline.
✔️ Category-I Graduate Apprentices: Full-time Degree in Engineering or Technology from a Statutory University, institution empowered by an Act of Parliament, or recognized professional body in the relevant discipline.
✔️ Candidates who graduated with a degree or diploma in 2020, 2021, 2022, or 2023 are eligible to apply.
✔️ Only candidates from Tamil Nadu are allowed to apply.
TNMVMD Apprentice Selection Process:
Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is interested with the task of preparation of TNMVMD Apprentice shortlist from the online application data. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their relevant disciplines' basic prescribed qualifications. Shortlisted candidates will receive notifications through their registered email IDs and must appear for certificate verification at TNMVMD, Chennai.
