✅ Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
Maximum 34 years for Assistant Commissioner.
Maximum 32 years (Open Market) / 42 years (For Teachers) for District Educational Officer.
Maximum 39 years for BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, MBCs/DCs, SCs, SC(A)s, STs, and Destitute Widows of all Communities - for Assistant Commissioner posts.
No Age relexation for District Educational Officer posts.
Knowledge in Tamil: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil on the date of this Notification.
Educational Qualifications:
✔️ Assistant Commissioner:
(1) Must possess any degree and also a degree of Bachelor of Law (3 years course) or a degree of Bachelor of Law (5 years Integrated course).
(2) (a) Must be actually practicing as an Advocate or as a Pleader in a Court of Civil or Criminal Jurisdiction for a period of not less than three years. (OR) (b) Must have put in a service of not less than six years in the post of Executive Officer, Grade-I or Grade-II or Grade-III or Grade-IV, or Inspector or Head Clerk or Manager or Superintendent in the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department.
✔️ District Educational Officer:
(1) Master’s degree or a degree of equivalent standard in any one of the following subjects namely Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, Tamil and English.
(2) Should have studied Tamil under Part-I or Part-II of the Intermediate or Pre-University Course or Higher Secondary Course.
(3) Bachelor of Teaching or Bachelor of Education of any recognized University in the State or a degree of equivalent standard.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ Registration Fee: ₹ 150/- only, The one time registration system valid for 05 years.
✔️ Preliminary Examination Fee: ₹ 150/- for General and OBC category candidates.
✔️ Main Written Examination Fee: ₹ 200/-
✔️ No fee for SC / ST / MBC / BC / BC (Muslims) / Ex-servicemen / PwBD and Destitute Widow.

✅ How to Apply TNPSC CCSE 2024?
➢ To Apply for TNPSC CCSE Exam 2024, eligible candidates should apply online through TNPSC Exams Portal (aaply.tnpscexams.in).
➢ The candidates first register "One Time Registration". Successfully registered One Time Registration is valid for five years from the date of registration.
➢ The candidates should have a scanned image of their photograph, certificates specified.
➢ Closing Date: The last date for registration of online applications is 22/05/2024 (Wednesday) up to 11:59 PM.
➢ Help Desk: The Candidates requiring clarification, can contact the office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission in person or over the Toll-Free No.1800 419 0958 on all working days between 10.00 A.M and 5.45 P.M.

Application correction window period: From 27th May 2024 to 29th May 2024 up to 11.59 P.M
Date and time of preliminary examination: 12th July 2024 2.30 P.M. to 5.30 P.M
Date of main examination: Will be announced at the time of the declaration of the results of the preliminary examination.
