Directorate of Food & Drugs Administration (DFDA), Government of Goa invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of following Group ‘C’ posts in the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration, ‘Dhanwantari’ opp. Shrine of Holy Cross, Bambolim, Goa. ✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Not exceed 45 years for all the posts as on closing date.
✔️ Age Relaxation for SC, ST, BC as per Government Rules or Orders issued from time to time.
✅ Pay Scales:
✔️ Food Safety Officer / Assistant Chemist / Pharmacist: Level 5 of Pay of 7th CPC ₹ 29,200/- + allowances as applicable
✔️ Laboratory Assistant / Junior Stenographer: Level 4 of Pay of 7thCPC ₹ 25,500/- + allowances as applicable
✔️ Lower Division Clerk / Driver: Level 2 of Pay of 7th CPC ₹ 19,900/- + allowances as applicable
✔️ Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Level 1 of Pay of 7th CPC ₹ 18,000/- + allowances as applicable
✅ Educational Qualifications:
✔️ Food Safety Officer: (i) A Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University or (ii) Any other equivalent/ recognized qualification notified by the Central Government, and (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
✔️ Assistant Chemist (Food): Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Food Technology or Microbiology or Food and Drugs from a University established in India by Law or is an Associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the section of Food Analysis conducted by the Institution of Chemists (India) or has an equivalent qualification. Not less than one year experience.
✔️ Assistant Chemist (Drugs): Graduate in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Science with Chemistry or Microbiology. Not leass than 03 years experience.
✔️ Pharmacist: Diploma in Pharmacy from Board of Technical Education or Degree in Pharmacy. Should be registered with the State Council of Pharmacy. Knowledge of konkani.
✔️ Laboratory Assistant: Passed the Secondary School Certificate examination / Matric with 12th class pass with Science subject. Successful completion of Lab. Asstt/ Lab. Technician Course.
✔️ Junior Stenographer: Higher Secondary School Certificate from a recognized board or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma. Minimum 3 months certificate course computer. Speed of 100 words per minute in short hand and 35 words per minute in typing. Knowledge of Konkani.
✔️ Lower Division Clerk: Possessing Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma. Knowledge of computer application / operations with typing speed of 30 words per minutes in English. Knowledge of Konkani.
✔️ Driver: Passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination OR Successfully completed the course conducted by the Recognized Industrial Training Institute. Driving Licence for light vehicle. Knowledge of Konkani.
✔️ Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Passed Secondary School certificate examination (OR) Passed course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or equivalent qualification, in relevant trade. Knowledge of Konkani.
✅ Selection Process: Written Examination.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 160/- for General / OBC category and other state candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC / ST category of West Bengal and PWD candidates.
✔️ The fee only through Banks participating in the GRPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System), Govt. of West Bengal at Govt. Receipt Head of Account ‘0051-00-104-002-16’.
✅ How to Apply: The applications shall be accepted in the Prescribed Form, at the office of this Directorate at “Dhanwantari” Directorate of Food & Drugs Admn., Opp. The Shrine of Holy Cross, Bambolim – Goa. 403 202, from 10.30 a.m. to 1.00 pm and 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm on all working days with effect from 01/03/2021 till 24/03/2021.
