Essential Qualifications:
(1) Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute or having passed Part A & B examination of Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil Engineering (OR) Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Planning from a recognized University/ Institute or having passed AHA (Part A & B) examination conducted by Indian Institute of Architects and recognized by Council of Architecture (OR) Bachelor's Degree in Planning from a recognized University/Institute; (AND)
(2) Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (2 Years) in Urban Planning or Regional Planning or Town Planning or Housing or Environmental Planning recognized by Institute of Town Planners (India) from a recognized University/ Institute (OR) Passed AITP Examination conducted by the Institute of Town Planners (India).
Desirable Qualifications:
(1) One year professional experience in Town & Country Planning from a Government/private organization engaged in Town & Country Planning works.
(2) One year experience in handling of Geographical Information System (GIS) Software from a Government or private organization engaged in Town & Country Planning works.
