Qualification & Experience:

Deputy Registrar -> Master's Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC '7' point scale from a recognized University / Institute. One of the candidates to be selected should preferably have Master's Degree in Commerce. Minimum Nine years' experience as a Assistant Professor (or) equivalent.

Medical Officer (Female) -> MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.

Assistant Registrar -> Master's Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC '7' point scale from a recognized University/Institute OR Employees of CFTI at grade pay of Rs. 4800 or higher with Master's Degree, and exemplary performance record.

System Administrator -> 1st class M.Tech or MCA with minimum two years experience in the relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5) in 10 point scale or consistently excellent academic record OR Employees of the CFTI for at least (Grade Pay Rs. 4800) or higher in the Institute.

Networking Engineer -> B.E. / B. Tech. in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology with at least 60% marks from recognized University or equivalent.

Senior Physical Instructor -> First Class Master degree in Physical Education or Master's Degree in Sports Science with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed with a consistently good academic record, Record of having represented the University / College at the Inter University / Inter College competitions or the State in National Championship, Qualifying in the National test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC, Passed the physical fitness test as provided in the UGC regulations.

Junior Engineer -> First class diploma in Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record (OR) B.E./B.Tech. in relevant field from a recognized university or institute.

Security Officer -> Bachelor's Degree from recognized University/Institute which 5 years experience in supervisory position in Army/Central Paramilitary forces. Preference will be given to the persons possessing a diploma certificate in a security operations/fire safety and disaster manager from a university/institute/reputed organization have served in the Army/Central Paramilitary forces.

Lab. Technician (Pathology) -> B.Sc. Degree in relevant field from a recognized University/Institute (Laboratory Assistant). Minimum experience of 2 years in handling medical laboratory equipment carrying out laboratory experiments in any health centre/dispensary/hospital of repute.

Junior Scale Stenographer -> 12th standard Pass. Skill Test Norms: Dictation 10 minutes @ 80 wpm. Transcription -50 minutes English, 65 minutes Hindi on Computer.

LDC -> Pass in 12th standard or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University and a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.

MTS -> Matriculation or I.T.I, or equivalent pass from a recognized Board / Institute. Preference will be given to those who have experience in laboratories in universities. In case suitable candidates are not available for this post, appropriate age relaxation may be considered for candidates having proven experience in the field.

Cook -> Matriculation & minimum two years experience in cooking of Indian Continental Food in a reputed Hotel / Restaurant / Organization.

Application Fee: Demand Draft of Rs 500/-, drawn in favour of "Director, SLIET, Longowal" (50% in case of SC / ST & fully exempted for women & PWD candidates). The date of issue of Demand Draft should be on or before 10th November 2014.

Educational Qualifications:

For Engineering Departments -> The candidates with B.Tech. and M.Tech. 1st Division in both, in the appropriate Branch of Engineering/Technology.

For Science Departments -> B.Sc and M.Sc. with 1st Division in appropriate discipline of Sciences with NET qualified.

For Humanities Department ->

(1) Graduation and M.A in English with 1st Division with NET qualified.
(2) The candidates with first division in graduation and 55% in M.A with NET would be considered for PRL.
(3) The candidates with first division in graduation and first division in M.A without NET may be interviewed / considered for a Pro-rata-Lecturer on contract basis, in case sufficient numbers of NET qualified are not available.

The interested candidates are required to Walk in Interview on 26/07/2014 between 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM. After 10.00 AM no application will be considered for scrutiny and interview. They should bring complete bio-data and the original certificates in support of their educational/professional qualifications.
