About: NIPER, SAS Nagar, an Institute of National importance established by an Act of Parliament under the aegis of Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India.

| Consultant (Business Development) | Rs.60,000/- to Rs.90,000/- (depending upon the last post held, Grade Pay, Educational Qalification and expenence etc.) plus other allowances as per the 'Scheme of engagement of Consultants at NIPER'. |
Job Duties -> The Consultant is expected to be a person with positive attitude, capable of problem solving, with a proven ability to coordinate with the industry, set interaction with the niche area clients (both India and abroad), explore contract research opportunities, licensing of generated know-how. services, consultancy arrangements etc.
Educational Qualifications:
Essential - Doctorate with proven record of excellence in relevant subject and minimum post qualification experience of 15 years' m the requisite field. The candidate should have high competency and established peer reputation OR Retired employee from Government/Autonomous bodies with (i) Grade pay of Rs. 10,000/- and above & (ii) at least 20 years experience in the requisite field.
Desirable - Candidates with science background (preferably Pharmaceuticals / Biotechnology / Engineering / Management will be preferred and preference will be given to the persons from industry or R&D background.
Walk in Interview –> Interested candidates having proven track record, command, expertise and deep knowledge in the respective discipline may attend walk-interview on 19/07/2014 (Saturday) at 11.30 am at Conference Room, Secretariat Budding, NIPER, SAS Nagar.
