High Security Animal Disease Laboratory (HSADL) invites applications for two (02) temporary posts, one each of Research Associate & SRF under National Fellow project entitled “Development & evaluation of neuraminidase DIVA marker vaccines against highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza viruses in chicken”. The last date for receipt of application is 14th June 2014.

Educational Qualifications:
Research Associate (RA) ->
(a) Post Graduation - M.V.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Virology/ Immunology or M.Sc. in Biotechnology.
(b) Academic Performance - 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average at M.Sc./M.V.Sc. level
(c) Work Experience - At least two years work experience in research in the relevant field.
(d) Desirable - Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Virology/Immunology and work experience in Bioinformatics, recombinant virus generation, gene cloning, site – directed mutagenesis, DNA transfection and nucleotide sequencing or animal viruses.
SRF ->
(a) Post Graduation - M.V.Sc. in Biotechnology / Virology/Immunology or M.Sc. in Biotechnology.
(b) Academic Performance - 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average at M.Sc./M.V.Sc level.
(c) Desirable - Work Experience in gene cloning and nucleotide sequencing.
