DBT-IOC Centre for Advanced Bio-Energy Research is looking for purely tenure track posts of Scientific Officer, Research Associate, Project Associate and Assistant. Eligible Persons apply on the prescribed format on or before 10th July 2014.
About: DBT IOC Centre is a collaborative venture of Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC) and located at IndianOil-R&D Centre in Faridabad. The main focus of the centre is on advance research in frontiers areas like Lignocellulosic ethanol, Algal biofuels, Gas fermentation and Bio-hydrogen.

Educational Qualifications:
(1) Scientific Officer (SO) -> Ph.D in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology. Minimum 2 years in relevant areas such as Fermentation/Bioprocess development/ Molecular Biology/ Algal Biotechnology.
(2) Scientific Officer (SO) -> Ph.D in Analytical/ Industrial chemistry. Experience - Minimum 2 years in relevant areas of Analytical/ Industrial chemistry.
(3) Research Associate -> Ph.D in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology.
(4) Project Associate -> M.Tech (Biotechnology).
(5) Assistant -> M.Sc in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology.
Selection Process: interview. Candidates should bring their self attested copies of relevant documents in support of age, qualifications (Mark sheet/degrees), and experience during the time of interview. The interviews are likely to be held in third or fourth week of July 2014.
