Educational Qualifications:
Civil Engineering -> M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering/ Geotechnical Engineering/Building Engineering and Disaster Mitigation/Engineering of infrastructure and disaster mitigation/Building Science and Technology/ Earthquake Engineering with three years relevant experience OR Ph.D. in any of the above areas and having B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering only.
Physics -> Ph.D. (Physics) with two years relevant experience in solar energy applications in buildings. (OR) M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering related to solar energy applications in buildings with three years relevant experience OR Ph.D. in any of the above areas.
Chemistry -> Ph.D. in Chemistry in the areas of Cement Chemistry/ Advanced Building Materials/ Polymeric composite materials/ Fire retardant or resistant materials/ Solid Waste Utilization with two years relevant experience.
Architecture -> Masters degree in Architecture/ Planning with three years relevant experience and having Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch.). (OR) Ph.D. in Architecture/Planning having Bachelors degree in Architecture only.

Essential Qualifications:
Engineering Disciplines -> 1st class diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Computer Science / Civil Engineering of atleast three years full time duration or atleast two years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course with experience of two years in the relevant area/field.
Chemistry -> 1st class Degree B.Sc. (Science) with Chemistry as one of the subjects, with one year full time professional qualification or one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute / Organization.
Geology -> 1st class Bachelor's Degree B.Sc. (Science) with one year full time professional qualification in Geology or one year experience in Geology from a recognized Institution/ Organization.
