Border Security Force (BSF) Communication & IT Directorate (Communication Wing) was released recruitment advertisement for Direct and Department Recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (RM), Head Constable (RO) and Head Constable(Fitter) [40% Quota Vacancies against Departmental (BSF Serving Personnel)]. Educational Qualifications:
ASI (RM) -> Matriculation with 3 Years Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical or Domestic Appliances (OR) 10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with 50% marks with selection subject being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
HC (RO) -> Matriculation or equivalent and Two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics (OR) 10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
HC (Fitter) -> Matriculation or equivalent and Two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic (OR) 10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Selection Process:
(a) First Phase - 24th August 2014 (Written Test)
(b) Second Phase -22nd September 2014 (PST, PET Documentation, Dictation Test for HC (RO) Only, Interview and Final Medical)
Written Examination: The written examination of 3 hrs duration will be conducted at the selection centers on the date and time to be fixed by HQ DG BSF. Written examination will consist of the following four parts:-

Medical Standards:
(a) Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of the both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing glasses.
(b) Must pass high-grade colour vision test.
(c) Must not have knock-knees, flat feet or squint in eyes.
(d) Must not be having any defect/deformity likely to interfere with the efficient Performance of the duties.
Application Fee: Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Bank Draft /Indian Postal Order for Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty) only for General and OBC candidates as the examination fee in favour of the Inspector General/DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/post office. However the SC/ST & BSF serving personnel and female candidates of all categories are not required to submit examination fee.
How To Apply: Completed Application (Prescribed Form) and Self-attested photo copies of educational qualification and Data Birth, Three recent Passport Size Photographs, Duly Selft-attested, One each to be pasted on the application form and admission card and third one to be attached with Application Form along with application fee will be sent to the Recruitment Centers on or before 07/07/2014.
