About: IIIT Guwahati has commenced operations from August 2013 with an intake of 60 students in B.Tech programmes in CSE and ECE. The Central Govt. is the majority equity holder (57.5%) in the Institute with the Assam State Govt holding 35%. The private partners are TCS, Srei, eMedhassu, Novatium, and Oil India. It is operating from temporary premises in the heart of the city. The campus will come up in a 100 acre plot near the airport.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D in the appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout. Candidates who have submitted their thesis, or are likely to submit shortly, may also apply.
