Educational Qualifications: Pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board. (50% Marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC Categories, 50% marks are not required for SC/ST candidates and for candidates having qualification.)
Professional Cultural Qualifications: Essential – Degree / Diploma Certificate in Music from Govt. recognized Institute. Desirable – Experience in the relevant field and performances given on AIR / Doordashan etc; Prizes won at National level in the relevant field.
Selection Process: Written Test (50 Marks); Practical Demonstration (35 Marks); Testimonials . Prizes etc. (15 Marks).
Examination Fee: A Non-refundable fee of Rs.40/- drawn in favour of "FA&CAO, East Coast Railway" payable at Bhubaneswar. No fee for SC/ST, Ex-serviceman, Women, Minority Community, Physicalled Challenged and Economically Backward classes.
How To Apply: Application on the prescribed format - A Good Quality A-4 (210x297 mm) size paper using One Side only. The candidates should use the same format published in the Employment Notice. Applicant should enclose with the application a set of Self-attested legible xerox copies of all certificates in proof of educational qualification, age, ST/SC/OBC status etc.
