GMCH Recruitment November 2012 Junior Residents

GMCHChandigarh Administration, Department of Medical Education & Research, Government Medical College & Hospital from the MBBS/BDS graduates, for filling up of various posts of Junior Residents in the various departments, clearing backlog of vacancies, for a maximum period of one year for the session starting from 01.01.2013 and also preparing a waiting list for future vacancies occurring during the remaining period of the year ending 31.12.2013 being tenure posts.

Upper Age Limit: 30 years for MBBS/BDS candidates for Junior Residents as on 01.01.2012.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39,100/- carrying grade pay of Rs.5400/- + Other Allowances as admissible.

Educational Qualifications: MBBS/BDS. Registered with State Medical Council Register/Medical Council of India. The candidates who have already completed their one year rotatory internship/likely to complete internship on 31.12.2012 are eligible to apply.

Application Fee: Rs.100/- (Rs.25/- in case of SC candidate, if applying for reserved category), non refundable, through Demand Draft payable at Chandigarh in  favour of Director Principal, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector - 32,  Chandigarh should be sent alongwith the Application.

How To Apply: The applications duly completed in all respects in the prescribed format along with the attested copies of educational qualifications, experience, date of birth, character certificate, medical registration certificate with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council, internship completion certificate, Mark Sheet of MBBS First Prof. Second Prof, Final Prof. Part-I and II, Caste/Community Certificate issued by the competent authority alongwith latest photograph and application fees of Rs. 100/- (25/- for SC/ST candidates if applying for reserved category) in the shape of Demand Draft, payable at Chandigarh drawn in favour of Director Principal, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector - 32, Chandigarh should be submitted in the office of the undersigned i.e. Room No. 228 A(Dairy & Despatch Section), Level II, Block D latest by 03.12.2012 upto 5.00 PM. In order to short-list the candidates, a Written Test will be held on 14.12.2012 at 11.00 AM. in the Auditorium Hall, College Building, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Sector
