Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi (P&A Department) recruitment of Skilled Tradesmen on Contract Basis. To meet requirements for the IAC and FPV Projects, Cochin Shipyard Limited, invites applications for appointment to the following positions of Semi Skilled Tradesmen on Contract Basis.

Skilled Tradesmen	641	30 years as on 01 Nov 2012 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.	Rs. 7500/-pm and compensation for extra hours of work limited to Rs. 2280/- pm.

Discipline: Sheet Metal workers – 170, Welder – 75, Riggers – 40, Crane Operators – 4, Fitter Pipe – 131, Diesel Mechanic – 46, Fitter – 30, Instrument Mechanic  - 18, Electrician – 53, Electronic Mechanic –13, Shipwright Wood – 21, Machinist -  4, Printer – 36.

Qualifications: Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the respective trade and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC). Minimum of three years post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard or Engineering Industry.

Walk in interview and practical test will be conducted  from 0900 Hrs to 1300 hrs on 01st Nov 2012 to 07th Nov 2012 at Cochin Shipyard Indoor Stadium, Thevara. Only those candidates who have passed SSLC and ITI in the relevant trade and in possession of National Apprenticeship certificate need attend the interview.
