WIHG Jobs 2012 Scientist and Stenographer

Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG) Dehradun (An Autonomous Institution of Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India)  is a premier Earth Science Institution engaged in advance level of research in all aspects of geology and geodynamics of the Himalaya.  Applications for the under mentioned tenured posts co-terminus with the tenure of the project and to be filled purely on temporary basis in the DST sponsored project entitled   “Centre for Glaciology at WIHG”.

1.	Scientist ‘B’	01	28 years as on 30.09.2012	Rs.15600–39100  + Grade Pay: Rs. 5400/- plus admissible allowances.
2.	Stenographer	01	35 years as on 30.09.2012	PB-1 Rs.5,200–20,200 + Grade Pay: ` 2400/- plus  allowances as admissible to the other employees of the Institute.

How To Apply: Application in the prescribed format. Attested photocopies in support of educational qualifications, experience etc MUST be submitted with the application form.  In case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC or PH category or being a widow, divorced woman or judicially separated woman, attested copies of Caste Certificates or Certificate in support of PH category  or other relevant certificate MUST be  submitted with the application,  failing which the relaxations available will not be allowed.  Candidates already working elsewhere MUST route their applications through proper channel.  Completed application along with complete enclosures MUST reach the Registrar, Wadia    Institute of Himalayan Geology,  33, General Mahadeo Singh Road, Dehra Dun  –  248001  by 4.00 p.m. on or before  14th September, 2012.
