Earth System Sciences Organization (ESSO) National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India. ESSO is looking for Project Scientist “C” (Six posts) for engagement on contract basis till March 2017, subject to satisfactory progress of work to be reviewed at the end of each year.

Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Meteorology / Oceanography / Atmospheric Science / Physics/ Geophysics / Mathematics / Applied Mathematics from a recognized university with at least first class (60%) at Post Graduation level. (AND) Three years experience in the field of Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/Applied Mathematics. Familiarity with UNIX, FORTRAN. (OR) M.Tech degree and two years research experience in the relevant field as per (i) above with familiarity in UNIX.Fortran/C/C++ . (OR) Ph.D in the relevant field as per (i) above with familiarity in UNIX.Fortran/C/C++.
