IISER Bhopal Recruitment of Faculty Positions December 2011

IISER BhopalIndian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, a national Institute of excellence established by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India for fostering science education and research in frontier areas invites application for various faculty positions in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Computer Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences (Economics, English and Psychology), Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.

Assistant Professor (On Contract)

Pay Band-3 with scale of pay of Rs.15,600-39,100 and Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of Rs.6,000/- with 7 non-compounded advance increments.

Ph.D.  with  a  first class or equivalent at the preceding degree and a good
academic record throughout. This position will enable the candidate to teach and gain research experience.

2.

Assistant Professor

Pay Band-3 with scale of pay of Rs.15,600-39,100 with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of Rs.8,000/- per month

Ph.D. with  a  first class or equivalent at the  preceding  degree  and  a very good academic record throughout. 
Minimum 3 years of post-doctoral experience from premier institutes.

3.

Associate Professor

PB-4 with scale of pay of  Rs.37,400-67,000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9,500/- per month.

Ph.D. with a first class at the preceding degree  and  a very good academic record throughout.  Minimum 6 years of teaching/ research experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.

4.

Professor

PB-4 with scale of pay of Rs.37400-67000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.10,500/- per month.

Ph.D.  with  a  first class or equivalent at the preceding degree  with  an
excellent academic record throughout. Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience.
