a. Degree or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution.

b. Registered as Nurse and Midwife under Indian Nursing council Act 1947/ any State Nursing Council.

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for General and OBC category and Rs.250/-(Rupees two hundred and fifty only) for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe category. Physically Handicapped candidates need not remit examination fees. The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of ‘Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Payable at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, Pondicherry-605 006.
