Banaras Hindu University Jobs 2011 Project Fellow, Project Assistant

BHUApplications are invited for the posts of Project Fellow and Project Assistant with a consolidated salary of Rs 12000/- and Rs 8000/- respectively for the part of works at Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi under Environmental Quality and Pollution (EQP) thematic group in Ministry of Environment and Forest (MOEF), Government of India sponsored Project, "Ganga River Basin Management Plan (GRBMP)" being undertaken by IITs consortium. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The initial sanctioned duration of the project is 18 months.

B.Tech (Civil Engineering)/ M.Sc. (Environmental Science/Chemistry) with 55 % or above marks and experience in similar area. NET/GATE qualified candidate will be given preference.

Project Assistant

Rs 8000/- consolidated

Essential Qualification: B.Tech (Civil Engineering)/M.Sc. (Environmental Science/ Chemistry).

Age Limit: 28 yrs, relaxable for female and SC/ST candidates by 5 yrs. All things being equal, SC/ST candidate will be given preferences as per Govt. of India rules.
