Selection Procedure:
(a) Physical Test -> Candidates will be required to undergo the following physical tests:- (i) 100 meters race, (ii) Vertical Rope, (iii) Chin-ups, (iv) Carrying a man of 63 kgs to a distance of 183 Meters within 96 second.
(b) Written Test -> Candidates who qualify in physical test will be called for written test Written test will be based on General Knowledge and syllabus upto matriculation or equivalent.

Educational Qualifications:
Fireman ->
(a) 10th (Matric) Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.
(b) Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire appliances and equipments fire engines, trailers, pumps, foam branches.
(c) Must be familiar with the use and maintenance first-aid fire fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump.
(d) Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods employed in fighting different type of fire.
(e) Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire service drills and be able to perform the task allotted to the member of fire crew.
(f) Must have served in a recognized Civil or Defence Fire Brigades as Fireman Grade-II for a minimum period of three years.
(g) Must be physically fit to serve in High Altitude. Area and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the physical fitness test.
Fire Engine Driver ->
(a) 10th (Matric) Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.
(b) Must have at least 3 years experience of driving heavy vehicle and be in possession of valid driving license.
(c) Must be physically fit to serve in High Altitude Area and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the physical fitness test.
Fire Fitter ->
(a) 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.
(b) Must be physically fit to serve in High Altitude Area.
Selection Process: Physical Test and Written Test. The Physical and written tests for all categories will be conducted 30 days after last date of receipt of application.
